Parish Church. C14 incorporating some C12 masonry. Much restored
C19. Coursed rubble stone, lead roofs, coped gables. W. tower of
2 stages with diagonal buttresses, plain parapet, paired cusped
lancets to bell chamber and Decorated single light to W. Nave
has clerestory of 3 C19 cusped circular windows in square
surrounds. N. aisle has Decorated windows, 2-light to N. and W.
3-light with flowing tracery to E. N. wall has blocked door with
moulded 2-centred arch, hoodmould and carved head stops, E. will
has fragments of decorative C12 masonry. S. aisle has similar
windows, door with moulded arch and jambs and worn carved heads
to label, and C19 porch. Chancel has 2 bays of Decorated 2-light
windows, those to W. lower. Large 3-light E. window with flowing
tracery. Narrow moulded doorway to N. Interior: nave of 3 bays
has double chamfered arcade on octagonal piers with moulded caps.
Similar low tower arch, and chancel arch on carved corbels. Cusped
piscina to left of chancel arch and another in chapel of S. aisle.
Chancel has piscina and double sedilia with cusped ogee arches,
crockets, finials and carved heads. Chancel roof has original
moulded tie beams. Octagonal C15 font, C17 altar table.
