SO 50 NE WEST DEAN LITTLE DRYBROOK

8/152 Stable at Ellwood Lodge
to south west of house

GV II

Stable. Late C17. Rubblestone, corrugated iron roof. Single
storey with lean-to structure to left. On east gable end stable
door with wooden lintel, small rectangular opening above a smaller
triangular opening above that - this last said to be typical of
Monmouthshire farm buildings of mid to late C17. Lean-to has very
small doorway with wooden lintel and small rectangular vent above.
Included primarily for group value with Ellwood Lodge (q.v.).
