The White House
GV II

House. Early C19. Red brick with brick quoins and rendered
window heads. Formerly whitewashed. Slate roof with end
stacks. Two storeys and garrets; regular three window front,
glazing bar sashes with rendered flat arches (some with
keyblocks) and panelled shutters. Bay window to right. Central
panelled door with transom-light. Full width later C19
conservatory across front. Left return (towards road) has one
round-headed window with margin panes and a 3-light window
under segment head to ground floor and a 1:2:1 oriel over.
