Manor Farmhouse
II

Farmhouse. Late C17 or early C18. Red brick with moulded band
and dog-tooth brick cornice. Swithland slate roof with ridge
stacks to left and in centre. U-plan with projecting gabled
return wings, with gables in imitation of very steep
pediments. Two flat-headed dormers in centre. Two storeys and
attics; four window front, gauged segment-headed surrounds
with early C20 wooden casements. Panelled door with
transom-light in wooden surround with panelled reveals and a
flat hood on carved volute brackets over.
