Terrace of 3 attached houses. c1830. Possibly by Charles
Underwood. Limestone ashlar with brick party wall stacks, roof
not visible. Double-depth plan.
Each of 3 storeys and basement; 1-window range. First-floor
sill band, frieze, cornice and parapet; left-hand doorways
have panelled pilasters with anthemion capitals, plate-glass
overlights and 8-panel doors with roundels. Tripartite windows
have panelled mullions, on the first floor a central pediment
and outer panels, with 6/6-pane and flanking 2/2-pane sashes;
curved pavement grilles to basement doorways. INTERIOR not
inspected.
HISTORICAL NOTE: an interesting early departure from late
Georgian patterns of doorway and window, in the manner of the
Dispensary, No.13 Dowry Square (qv). Linked by the cornice to
No.104 (qv) to the right.
