Water tower. Dated 1905. For Bristol Waterworks. Red brick and
stone dressings, slate pyramidal roof. Square Gothic tower. 3
storeys; 2-window range. Second floor containing header tank
overhangs with arcaded machicolations, and has 5 arrow slits
in a recessed arcade and a crenellated parapet. Below, deep
supports on weathered plinths form 2 blind lancet arches with
hoodmoulds, containing small lancet windows with metal frames
and interlacing heads in the ground and first floors. Date pad
reads BWW 1906.
