Swing bridge. 1875-6. By IK Brunel. Wrought-iron. Tubular
section long members, iron walls and timber-floored deck. A
copy of Brunel's original bridge which was moved to the North
Entrance Dock in 1873 (qv). The design foreshadowed Brunel's
much larger Royal Albert Bridge at Saltash.
