Town house. c.1830 in 2 builds; altered. Red brick in Flemish
bond, with sandstone dressings and slate roof. L-shaped plan.
Two storeys over cellars with later attic. 3-bay facade, a
central semi-elliptical headed doorway with doorcase of
engaged Tuscan columns with abaci, plain frieze and cornice,
plain jambs with imposts, and fanlight. Windows with raised
sills and wedge lintels. Large 2-storey bow to the right of
door, which has 2 curved sashed windows without glazing bars
on each floor and 2 low cellar windows, a late C19 canted bay
window to the left and 2 sashed windows without glazing bars
at 1st floor (that over the door now with applied leading and
frosted glass). Plain frieze and moulded cornice carried
round; hipped roof with large inserted flat-roofed dormer over
3rd bay, chimney to right. Interior not inspected.
