House. Late C18. Painted render over rubblestone, crested
slate roof, no stacks to the main block. Double-depth plan
with rear additions. 2 storeys; 4-window range. Windows to the
first floor and ground-floor right are C18 two-light leaded
casements. To right-of-centre a door under a late C19
trellised porch has a C20 window to the left, a C19 canted
2-light bay window to the left of that; service entrance to
the far left blocked by C20 window has a small C20 window to
its right. On right return C20 French doors with C20 window
right of centre above. INTERIOR not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: a rubblestone wall approx 2m high,
lowered c1980, attached to the front right corner, sweeps down
to meet a similar wall of The Lodge (qv).
