Pair of houses. Probably late 1830s. Brick with buff headers
and stucco dressings; slate roof with brick end stacks.
Georgian style. 2 storeys; symmetrical 3-window range. Plain
eaves. Round-headed entry to centre has blind fanlight and
plank door; flanking entrances have moulded doorcases with
paterae and 6-fielded-panel doors, that to No.19 with glazed
top panel. Windows have sills, those to ground floor with
rusticated wedge lintels and keys, over 12-pane sashes. Part
of the early C19 development of the north part of Stratford,
known as New Town.
