Pair of houses. 1836-7. Brick with buff headers and stucco
dressings; slate roof with brick end stacks. Georgian style. 2
storeys; symmetrical 4-window range. Top brick cornice.
Round-headed entrances and entry to centre have blind
fanlights with faint radial glazing-bar pattern, 4-flush-panel
doors, and plank door to entry. Canted bay windows to ground
floor have cornices over 4:12:4-pane sashes; windows to 1st
floor have sills, with rusticated wedge lintels over 12-pane
sashes. Part of the early C19 development of the north part of
Stratford, known as New Town.
