3 cottages. Late C18/early C19. Coursed squared limestone
rubble; artificial slate roof; 3 brick ridge stacks, one to
right-end, that to left shared with No.12 London Road. No.6 to
right probably former double-fronted house; No.8 formed out of
left-hand portion of No.6; No.10 is near-contemporary addition
to left. 2-storey 3-window range. First floor has three
8/8-pane sashes in plain reveals with projecting stone cills;
ground floor has 3 similar windows and 3 doors with 6 flush
panels, Nos 6 and 8 to right broader with simple 4-pane
overlights. 2-storey C19 lean-to additions to rear in coursed
square limestone (No.6) and brick (Nos 8 and 10); No.6 has
brick stack at junction with main roof. Right side of No.6 has
9-pane window and 2-light leaded casement in plain reveals
with exposed timber lintels and stone cills; blocked opening
in gable has exposed timber lintel. INTERIORS not inspected.
