Old Hall Farmhouse
GV II
Farm building, now house. Early C17, converted c1985. Ashlar
with stone dressings, quoins and plinth. Plain tile roof with
metal chimney flue and five roof lights to south side. Two
storeys and four bays. North elevation has C20 wooden door in
plain doorcase to east and three small recessed and chamfered
single light windows to west. Above four similar windows. West
gable wall has similar windows to ground and first floor. South
elevation has full height C20 glazed screen to east with screen
continuing up into the roof as roof lights. To west there are
three similar single light recessed and chamfered windows, as on
north elevation, and above three more. All fenestration is
single pane C20 casements. Interior has three large queen strut
trusses with cambered tie beams, double purlins, and windbraces
to the upper purlins.
