Pair of gate piers. Mid C17. Ashlar. Pair of massive gate piers, cruciform in plan with each corner cut away, and with pulvinated friezes, moulded cornices and ball finials on moulded bases to tops. Gate piers to Swarkestone Hall which was abandoned after the Civil War.
