Late C19. Romantic cottage on 2 floors (with one attic dormer at rear) but with
entrance at the upper level of the western gable, from the higher ground of the
driveway. Red tile roofing, with large and small gables having scalloped
bargeboards; massive chimney stack with triple flues (the outer being set
diagonally) on stepped base. Stone rubble walling; irregular facades except for
symmetrical western gable which has an open entrance porch, the gabled roof being
supported on a rustic framework of branches.
