Dated 1825. 2 storeys and basement. 3 + 4 + 2 windows. Ashlar with cornice
and blocking course and ashlar chimneys. No 1 slightly recessed. Nos 2 and
3 have parapet containing carved panel with legend "Orchard Place" over "1825"
in centre. Nos 1 and 2 have glazing bar sash windows, Nos 3 and 4 later glazing
in sashes. No 1 has central Ionic portico with detached columns and side niches.
Nos 2, 3 and 4 have doorcases with rosettes to lintels and blocking courses;
Nos 3 and 4 have decorative panelled pilasters. Nos 2 and 4 have steps to doorways.
No 3 has large recent basement and ground floor square 2 light bay with entrance
in basement. Nos 1 and 3 retain railings to front gardens. No 4 has attic
windows in east gable.

Orchard Place [Nos 1 to 4 (consec)] and Archway form a group.
