Early C19 enlargement of C17 house with later additions. 2 storeys and attic.
5 and 2 windows. Stone with rendered front and raised and painted quotas,
stone band courses to 1st and 2nd floors and stone lintels and cills. Glazing
bar sash windows. 3 half dormers, in main part, gabled, with late glazing.
Roof hipped to left. 3 window part separated from 2 window part by firewall.
Steps to central plain Doric portico with flat entablature. Interior completely
altered and stair balusters blocked for fireproofing. 3 upper crucks in older
range formerly gable end to street on east side with high verge to south.

Nos 19 to 23 (odd) and the County Hotel form a group.
