The Rookery

GV II

House. Late C18. Coursed rubble limestone with sandstone dressings. Plain tile
roof with two brick ridge stacks. Two storeys. West elevation - three bays,
the bay at the south end a later addition with a casement window with stone
surround to each floor, and a doorway with stone surround. North half, double
fronted. Central doorway with C20 half-glazed door and C19 gabled wooden porch
with lattice-work. Flanked on each side by 2-light square section flush mullion
windows. Two similar windows above, but with narrow, chamfered mullions.
