Attached house. 1740. Render with limestone dressings, gable
stacks and a pantile roof. Single-depth plan. Mid-Georgian
style. 3 storeys and basement; 3-window range. The principal
S-facing front is symmetrical with a parapet, brackets to a
cyma-moulded canopy and a half-glazed door. Canted bays have
exposed frames with reeded mouldings and 6/6-pane flanked by
4/4-pane sashes, and 8/8-pane sashes above with fine bars, and
semicircular-arched middle windows with 6/6-pane sashes. Road
elevation is a 1-window range with a central 6-panel door, and
far left windows including a semicircular-arched second-floor
sash. INTERIOR: through-passage with a central, curved dogleg
stair with stick balusters, a curtail and wreathed rail, and
plain bracketed fireplaces.
