House. c1840. Limestone ashlar, rendered lateral stacks and a
pantile hipped roof. Double-depth plan. Italianate style. 2
storeys and basement; 3-window range. A symmetrical front has
rusticated quoins, a plinth, sill band, plat band and frieze
below deep overhanging eaves. A large portico has columns with
acanthus capitals to semicircular arches and scrolled keys, to
a 2-leaf door with 2 oval panels. Architraves to the windows,
with console cornices on the ground floor, and slightly
battered, eared architraves on the second, to 6/6-pane sashes.
INTERIOR not inspected, but noted as having shutters.
