Hall. Mid C19. Pink and cream mottled brick in English
garden-wall bond, with sandstone steps and dressings; steeply
pitched slate roof, with stone coped gable, shaped kneelers
and roll-moulded finial. 1-storey-and-attic gabled front, on
tall triple-chamfered plinth; 3 narrow bays recessed beneath
semicircular arch and hoodmould. 2 steps up to board double
doors between tall 6-pane windows with sloped sills, each
recessed in square-headed panel with shouldered lintel. Over
door paired tall windows with chamfered lintels, and above
them circular window with lobed glazing bars. Moulded cornice
across outer bays stepped-up in centre over circular window.
In gable apex is band of herringbone brickwork between stone
string courses, interrupted in centre by stone panel pierced
with quatrefoil.
