Pair of cottages, one now divided into flats. Probably C18 in
origin. Coursed and squared rubble on rock plinth raised in
brick with some walls entirely of brick. Welsh slate roof. 2
storeys, L-plan resulting from a series of additions. No.2 is
a single-unit plan with inserted casement windows with
concrete lintels and sill, but original doorway to left. No.4
has projecting wing to front which has brick south wall with
doorway and inserted casement window over. Sash windows in
gable, and the stone jambs of earlier windows visible each
side. Large projecting stack against rear wall. To rear of
this range, and in alignment with it, a taller 3-storeyed
block with inserted windows in rear wall. At right angles to
this, single-unit range with doorway now giving access to
stairs at angle, and inserted casement window and dormer over.
