Terrace of 6 houses, now largely in use as offices. c1825-30.
Possibly by James Gillespie Graham. Ashlar-faced brick with
Welsh slate roof. 3 storeys, 15-window range. Each a single
room, double-depth plan with the exception of No.1, which is a
4-window range, 2-room plan, its two left-hand bays advanced.
Channelled ashlar to ground floor, with 6-panelled doors with
overlights and 12-pane sash windows, the voussoirs emphasised
in the channelled ashlar. 12-pane sashes above, with
continuous sill band and plain stone lintels. Blind window
spaces over doorways. Moulded cornice and parapet. Axial brick
stacks. Cast-iron spear head railings to basement area and
each side of steps up to front doors.
