House, now shop and flats. c1740. Coursed squared stone with
ashlar quoins and painted dressings; roof of stone slates with
stone gable coping and stone chimneys. L-plan with long rear
wing. 3 storeys; 3-window range. Plain stone surround to low
passage entrance at right with partly glazed C20 door and
plain overlight. Late C19 shop front projects in shallow
square bay and has recessed central entrance, plate glass
windows, slender mullions and simple entablature. Architraves
to plain sashes above, of same height on each floor, with
first-floor sill band. Roof has gable copings on moulded
kneelers; end chimneys. Passage has boarded walls.
