House, later 2 shops and flats, one shop now subdivided. Early
C19 with early C20 shops. Thin courses of squared stone with
ashlar quoins and dressings; slate roof with stone ridge and
stone chimney. 3 storeys; 3-window range, with long 2-storey
rear wings. 2 steps up to yard passage door to right of
centre, with recessed tooled stone surround to earlier door
obscured by shop alterations. Left shop front, now subdivided,
has 2-light windows and central 4-panel door with opening
transom light, and narrow fascia with cloth canopy on hinged
iron stays. Right shop front has entrance at right, and higher
fascia. Upper floors have plain stone surrounds to plain
sashes to No.13 and 4-pane sashes to No.11, the latter with
large single restored window at centre of first floor, and 2
secondfloor windows. Low-pitched roof has right end chimney
enclosed in roof of adjacent house. Passage shows Gothic-style
doorway to left shop. INTERIOR: not inspected.
