House, now shop and flat. Early C18 with late C19 shop.
Painted incised stucco with plinth and painted ashlar
dressings; roof of asbestos tiles in imitation of Welsh slate,
with stone gable copings and brick chimneys. 3 storeys;
2-window range. Front has pronounced batter. Renewed
yard-passage door at left in plain reveals. To right of this,
4-panel house door and small overlight in reeded surround with
corner patera. Shop front at right has panelled pilasters with
foliage capitals to half-glazed door at right with 2 lower
panels and opening overlight, and plate-glass shop window at
left, under fascia and plain hood breaking forward over
window. Cross-casement first-floor windows and 4-pane
second-floor sashes abutting eaves have plain reveals and
projecting stone sills. Steeply pitched roof has stone gable
copings on moulded kneelers, and end chimneys, the right
larger, with stone bands. INTERIOR: not inspected.
