House, later house and shop. Late C18 with C19 shop. Pecked
coursed squared sandstone with ashlar quoins and painted
tooled ashlar dressings; shop front has cast-iron crestings.
Roof of stone slates with stone ridge, stone gable copings and
yellow brick chimneys. 3 storeys; 2-window range. Projecting
shop front has central half-glazed door and overlight recessed
between panelled pilasters of large 4-pane sashes. Stone and
glazed green tile stall-risers. Full-width fascia and cornice
with ornate iron cresting; cresting removed over left window
and over door. Plain sashes in painted plain stone surrounds.
Roof has gable copings resting on cyma-moulded kneelers. Left
end chimney with dog-tooth cornice. INTERIOR: not inspected.
