Turk's Head Public House
GV II
House, now inn. Late C18 with C19 alterations. Painted stucco
with painted plinth and ashlar dressings; stone slate roof
with stone gable copings and chimney. 3 storeys; 2-window
range in 3 irregular bays. Tooled stone surround to 6-panel
door and overlight at right. 2 canted bay windows set close
together at centre have round-headed sashes and wood mullions.
Similar sashes in 2 first-floor windows with shaped corniced
surrounds, left bay blind. Plain stone surrounds to 3 smaller
second-floor sashes of similar type. Roof has left gable
coping on moulded kneeler, and coped left end chimey.
