House. Initialled and dated " WBA ". Hammer-dressed stone, ashlar dressings.

Stone slate roof, brick stacks. Simple classical style. 2 storeys with cellar
and attic. 5-bay symmetrical facade. Raised quoins, plinth, lintel bands.
Doorway with architrave, keystone, entablature and cornice with apron above
connecting window with similar surround. Bays either side on both floors have
2-light flat-faced mullioned windows with recessed mullions and raised plain
surrounds. Coped gables with kneelers and stacks. Added bay to right of lesser
interest. Rear has doorway with composite jambs, chamfered surround and decorative
dated lintel. To left, altered window with 3-light window above. To right, 2-light
stairwindow and 5-light window to cellar, ground floor and 1st floors, all windows
with recessed flat-faced mullions and flush king mullions. Gables have 2-light
attic windows.
Interior: front rooms have deep panelled window seats with raised-and-fielded
panels. Dog-leg staircase has finely-turned balusters, with stair under to flat-
ceilinged cellar. Several original 6-panelled doors with raised-and-fielded panels.
Roof trusses with tie-beams, single angle struts, collars and diamond-set ridge.
