GV II
House, now public house. Early/mid C17 with later alterations and mid C19
extension to right. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled artificial stone slate
roof; C17 moulded stone end stacks finished in rendered C19 brick; mid C19 brick
stack to right. 2-unit plan with rear wing extended to 3-unit plan. 2 storeys;
3-window range. Timber lintels over central C20 door and C20 door to right.
Timber lintels over C20 casements. Two-storey rear left wing with concrete tile
roof and large lateral stone stack. Interior: front range has chamfered beams
and chamfered bressumer over open fireplace to right. Rear wing, of possibly
older C17 origins, has chamfered and roll-stopped beams and open fireplace to
left. Noted as having butt-purlin roof.
