Former farmhouse. Mid C16. Timber framed and rendered, pantiled roof. 3-
cell form. 2 storeys. Various casement windows, mostly of mid C20. To
north, one original window with diamond mullions. Lobby entrance with C20
gabled porch. Internal stack has square shaft, extended to south. 2-storey
south addition of colourwashed brick with a glazed black pantiled roof.
Interior. Not examined during re-survey. Queen-post roof with intact hipped
ends; the rafters have been painted with a soot solution as an aid to
preservation (information from Mr T. Easton, Bedfield Hall).
