Two cottages, originally one small farmhouse. C16 or C17. Timber framed
with a colourwashed render and a thatched roof. Two storeys. Entrance
front: projecting C19 gabled wing with brick walling at left of centre and
at right of it beneath the porch is a plank door with a 2-light casement at
right of it. To the first floor above this is a 3-light C19 casement
window. Attached to the right hand gable end is a lean-to outshut of brick
which has a 2-light C19 window. Left hand side: ground floor 2-light
window and a first floor 3-light casement and projecting at right the wing
which has a porch to the re-entrant angle and a 3-light window at right.
Rear: two 2-light ground floor casements and one 2-light window.
Interior: Chamfered ceiling beams and close-studded walling to the ground
floor. C19 winder staircase leading to the first floor which also has
close studding and a blocked 3-light window with diamond section mullions.
