Two houses. Early C19. Flemish-bond brick, stone shouldered
copings, stepped voussoirs, cills and steps; pantile roofs
with brick stacks to gable ends. L-shaped plan. 3 storeys;
each house is 2-window range. The street is angled at this
point. No.13 faces NE; it is virtually a rear right wing to
No.15 which faces NW with a blank gable end to the left
return, No.13 is to the left of that. The windows have flat
arches with stepped stone voussoirs; those to No.13 are
sashes, 3/3-panes to the second floor, 6/6-panes to the first
floor and 8/8-panes to the ground floor left; a 6-panel door
to the right has 2 beaded panels below 4 raised-and-fielded
panels and a semicircular fanlight with radiating glazing
bars; it is set in an open pedimented doorcase with restored
pilasters. Windows to No.15 face NW; and are similar to No.13
but those to the left are tripartite; that to the ground-floor
left is a 4/4-pane sash and to ground-floor right is a French
window with 2 panes to the overlight. INTERIORS not inspected.
