House. Early C19. Flemish-bond brick with stone copings,
cornice, stepped voussoirs, platband and cills; mansard
pantile roof with brick stacks to gable ends. Double-depth
plan with large c1980 rear wing. 2 storeys with attic and
cellar; symmetrical 3-window range. 3 raking dormers to the
attic; cornice returned below the parapet; all windows are
8/8-pane sashes; the c1900 central doorcase has a row of 5
fixed leaded lights above a recessed 6-panel door, glazed to
the top over 4 raised-and-fielded panels, this is flanked by
fixed leaded lights with segmental tops. To far right is a
former doorway with segmental brick arch, now blocked.
INTERIOR: The hall has 6-panel doors in moulded architraves
and a reeded cornice and ceiling rose. The cellar has
segmental brick arches to the ceiling.
