Small house. Mid C18 (said to be dated 1761), altered.
White-painted brick, stone slate roof. Double-depth
double-fronted plan. Two storeys and attic, 2 windows,
symmetrical. The ground floor has a central doorway with plain
surround flanked by bowed oriel windows (inserted c.1956) all
under a C20 cornice; the 1st floor has 12-pane sashed windows
with exposed boxes and raised sills. The left gable has a
small attic window. Gable chimneys. INTERIOR: altered, but the
attic contains an upper-cruck roof truss.
