2 shops. Mid C16. Timber-framed, plastered and colourwashed.
Pantile roof. 2 storeys, the upper storey jettied. 6-panelled
door flanked right and left by a late C19 canted bay with
false leading. To right is a second, similar, late C19 shop
front with side entrance. 3 late C20 windows to first floor
and a 3-light casement to right, with glazing bars. Gabled
roof. Ridge stack left of centre. INTERIOR: winder staircase
to rear of stack which has a brick fireplace with chamfered
jambs to the west. Chamfered bridging beams with tongue and
bar stops. First-floor fireplace is 4-centred, also with
chamfered brick jambs. Roof originally a C16 clasped purlin
type, of which fragments can be identified. Mainly rebuilt at
various times.
