Terraced houses. c.1828-30. Yellow brick set in Flemish bond,
stucco, roof obscured by parapet. Three storeys over basement,
two windows each. Basement and ground floor on nos 77-9
stuccoed, the ground floor decorated with banded rustication;
stucco storey band to all the houses. Steps up to round-arched
entrance with fluted quarter-columns except no 79; cornice,
and fanlight, with decorative glazing to all except nos 83 and
87, panelled doors of original design. All upper windows
flat-arched with gauged brick heads, those to first floor of
nos 81-7 set in recessed round-arched panels. 6/6 sashes of
original design to all upper floors, and sashes with radiating
glazing bars to ground floor of nos 81-3; brick band below
parapet; stacks to party walls. Cast-iron railings to area.
