Pair of cottages. Late C18 to early C19. Squared rubblestone,
double Roman tiled roof with coped verges and ashlar stacks. 2
storey, 4-windows. Two planked doors have ashlar porches with
ashlar gabled roof. Either side of each door is one 2-light beaded
mullioned window with casements. First floor has four 2-light
beaded mullioned windows. Two gabled attic dormers to roof.
Returns are without windows. Rear has same 2-light beaded
mullioned casement windows and No 612 has C19 brick outshot.
Interior not inspected. Good example of stone late C18 artisan
dwelling in unaltered condition.
