Farmhouse, now house. Early C18. Coursed limestone rubble; Stonesfield-slate and
plain-tile roofs with brick gable stacks. L-plan. 2 storeys plus attic. Front
has a central doorway between tall 2-light casements, all with dressed flat
arches, and has, at first floor, similar windows in the outer bays, a
single-light window above the doorway, and an inserted single-light window to
left of centre. Roof, which has 3 gabled roof dormers, has a stack to right but
is hipped to left, returning to a rear gable bearing another stack. Rear wing
returns on the left at a slightly lower level; remainder of rear wall is
concealed by an added outshut, probably almost contemporary. Interior: central
winder stair rising to attic; heavy chamfered beams; wide plank doors;
butt-purlin roof with cambered collars. Known in 1797 as Coldharbour Farm.
