Farmhouse. Probably late C18. Limestone rubble with timber lintels and some
squared quoins; plain-tile roof with brick gable stacks. T-plan. 2 storeys plus
attic. Symmetrical 3-window front has a central doorway, with a flat canopy on
shaped brackets, below a 12-pane sash; outer bays have wider 12-pane sashes. All
sashes are C19; all lintels are stop-chamfered. 2-unit rear wing is slightly
lower and has irregular fenestration with casements. Interior not inspected.
Formerly part of the Water Eaton Estate.
