Remains of Roman granaries from Templeborough fort. Early C2; resited 1916
following excavations at original site in 1877-78 and 1916. Sandstone.
Fragmentary remains of the portico and colonnaded verandah of a pair of granaries
now displayed in original orientation and layout. One complete column of the
portico has been re-erected; fragments and bases of others. Colonnaded verandah
represented by sill wall with bases worked on the plinth blocks. Associated
remains scattered at random in adjacent garden bed.
