Gate piers. Late C18. Ashlar sandstone. Pair of tall piers linked to much-
shortened outer piers by dwarf wall. Main piers: rusticated, corniced and
surmounted by urns with foliate-carved base and swags beneath nulled rim (left
urn damaged). Last surviving estate entrance contemporary with Clifton House
(q.v.) built for Joshua Walker in 1783.
