Famhouse, C16 with alterations of C17 and early C19. C19 cross-wing forms T-
plan. 2 storeys, 3 windows. Painted brick; slated roof. C19 windows with
segmental heads, mullioned and transomed casements. 4-panelled C19 entrance
door with reeded and panelled reveals, segmental fanlight and open wrought iron
entrance porch. Rear wing timber-framed, rendered, 2-cell lobby entrance plan,
2 storeys and attics. Concrete tiled roof with axial red brick chimney; gabled
casement dormer. The C16 house was of 2 cells, 1½ storeys high. Chimney
inserted, centre section rebuilt, and roof raised late C17.
