House, C16 with C17 and C19 alterations. 2 storeys and attics, 4 windows.
Timber-framed, rendered and partly encased in C19 painted brick. Concrete
plaintiled roof; axial and gable chimneys of red brick. C19 small-pane
casements and 4-panelled entrance door with flat canopy on console brackets.
The right-hand section has mid-C16 core, with carved leaf stops to main first
floor beams in hall, and to C16 fireplace bressumer; the roof and upper walls
rebuilt late C17. The left-hand section c.1600, with roof having deep
principal rafters and 2 tiers of butt-purlins with wind-braces.
