House: late C18 front added to earlier rear; front red brick,
Flemish bond, with stone quoins and plinth, remains of tuck
pointing on road face; slate in diminishing courses to roof on
front, concrete tiles rear where not seen. 4-window entrance
front, 2 room deep, front 2-storey, rear same height but two-and-a-
half storeys. Entrance front at right-angles to road: front door
off centre to left, up 3 semi-circular stone steps. Double door,
6-panelled, rectangular fanlight over with intersecting glazing
bars: Roman Doric pilasters and frieze, pedimented head with
guttae below floor and slopes. Sash windows, stone sills and
stepped stone voussoirs, keystone projecting slightly. Plain
string course to first floor: stone dentil cornice with plain
parapet over: behind a hipped roof. Parapet sweeps up to
chimneys with moulded stone caps on ends.
Internally, 6-panel doors to front rooms, fielded with planted
bead. Fluted dado rail, Adam-style fireplace and frieze; walls
in room to right plastered, and 'panelled' with thin reed moulding.
2-panel door with 'L' hinges to rear room on right.
