Former public house, now forms 2 dwellings. Early to mid C19. Hammer-dressed
stone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys. Quoins. Blue Ball House has central
doorway with monolithic jambs with to either side flat faced mullioned windows
of 2 wide lights (formerly sashed) to each floor. To right and left doorways
with tie-stone jambs and quoined lintels (blocked). Gable stacks. Blue Ball
Cottage is slightly later and is an added single cell to left hand end. This
has quoins, doorway with sill tie and 2-light window to each floor, gable stack.
