House attached to Davey Hall Cottage (q.v.). Probably Mill Manager's house to
mill opposite (now demolished). Early to mid C19. Watershot masonry, stone
slate roof. Quoins. Double pile. 2 storeys. At right angles to cottages.
East front has 3-bay symmetrical facade with windows with plain stone surrounds
with slightly projecting sills (altered glazing). Doorway has tie-stone jambs.
Gutter brackets. Return walls each have single bay of 4-light flat faced
mullioned windows to rear of double pile. Coped gables with kneelers and
stacks. Listed for group value only.
