Farmhouse with adjoining barn. Late C18 with later
additions. Brick with stone dressings, slate roofs. 2
storeys, 4 bays, the 3rd and 4th bays are lower; 3-bay barn
to right. 1st and 2nd bays have flat bands over floors.
Windows have wedge lintels and are sashed with glazing bars,
those to 3rd and 4th bays are narrower. Former entrance has
gauged-brick cambered arch and small-paned glazing. 3rd bay
has cart entrance with elliptical arch and gates. 4th bay
has inserted door with flanking light. Barn has central
entrance with large doors and diamond-pattern ventilation
holes to flanking bays. Brick-coped gables and gable-end
stacks.
