Front block of works. Classical. Circa 1870. Rusticated ashlar
to ground floor, hammer dressed stone to 1st floor. Hipped slate roof
with bracketted eaves cornice and blocking course. 2 storeys with
moulded string between. 13-bay symmetrical facade, the central bay
breaking forward with open segmental pediment. Large central round
arched doorway with double panelled doors and fanlight with radial
glazing bars. Pilaster-like vermiculated surrounds supporting small
bracketted cornice. 3-light window over with pilaster surround and
mullions with foliated capitals. Frieze and segmental pediment over.

Square headed sashes to ground floor. Round arched sashes with key
and impost blocks and apron, to 1st floor.
