House, probably former Priory guest house. C14 with later alterations. C19 brick
to ground floor with main posts of framing; small timber-framing with brick
infill to first floor; old plain-tile roof; stone internal stack to rear centre
with 4 diagonally set brick flues. 2-storey, 2 and a half-bay range. C19 plank
door to C19 addition to right. 3-light casement to ground floor left.
Single-light casement to first floor right. Left return: Queen-post roof truss
to gable end. Rear: C19 brick to ground floor; small timber-framing with brick
infill to first floor. 3-light casement to ground floor left. 2-light casement
to ground floor right. Gabled dormer with 2-light casement to left. Interior:
open fireplaces to ground floor. Chamfered spine beams and joists to ground
floor. History: the Cistercian Priory of Pinley was founded by Henry I, and
dissolved by Henry VIII.
